  1. Can we start a 2012 Ford Fiesta link please?

I have a start for the wiring info…

Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Yellow/Red
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: There is no switched power wire in 2012 harness, must be located elsewhere, I have mine to the fuse box on a open position that is only on when the car is in RUN position. Haven’t located a switched wire yet.
    Car Radio Ground Wire: Black/Blue
    Car Radio Illumination Wire: Blue
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: There is no dimmer wire in the factory harness (controlled by CAN BUS)
Car Stereo Power Antenna Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A
    Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: oversized 6.75 (it’s a 7″ speaker opening)
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: door panel
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): White
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): White/Brown
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): White/Violet
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): White/Orange
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: oversized 6.75 (it’s a 7″ speaker opening)
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: rear doors (there is a pattern in the non-rear speaker car that can be drilled into the door panels and retains the OEM look)
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): White/Green
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/White
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Blue

  2. Anyway to find out wiring for an alarm system. I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta S model sedan that doesn’t have remote entry. I have a viper 211hv system that I plan on using only for remote door locks. However not sure which wire is the lead for the locks. That’s all I need for info is the lock wire. Thanks for the help

  3. Carlos, most vehicles have a factory hole with a rubber or plastic grommet at the firewall. This is usually the standard place to run a power wire through the firewall. If one of these holes are not available or not large enough, a hole will have to be drilled to accommodate your power wire. Choose something on the engine side of the firewall as reference and try to match it up on the interior side of the firewall. This will make sure you do not drill through anything important. Then drill a hole somewhere near or beside your reference point. Make sure to use a firewall grommet to prevent the power wire from chaffing on the firewall that could potentially cause a short. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2011 Ford Fiesta amplifier installation.

  4. Michael, as much as we would like to help you, most of the car stereo wiring information listed on our website is provided by our visitors. We currently do not have any information on the 2011 Ford Fiesta pin out diagram but hopefully someone from our knowledgeable Modified Life community would be able to chime in and assist you.

  5. Very nice. Much appreciated for all this. Any chance you could get a diagram of the pins at the back of the radio as I have the radio but need to know which pin does what as I don’t have the cables in the car. Thanks, Mike.

  6. Carlos, here are your 2011 Ford Fiesta speaker sizes:

Car Audio Tweeter Speaker Size: 1″ Tweeters
Car Audio Tweeter Speaker Depth: 2″
Car Audio Tweeter Speaker Location: N/A

Car Audio Front Speakers Size: 6 1/2″ speakers
Car Audio Front Speakers Depth: 3 2/5″
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: Doors

Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: 6 1/2″ speakers
Car Audio Rear Speakers Depth: 3″
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: N/A

Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2011 Ford Fiesta speaker installation.

  7. Do you know what brand of head unit they placed in the fiesta? What is the min and max output of the deck? Does it have aux input for RCA plugs? How about the speakers what size did they put in the front and in the rear?

  8. What i did with my fiesta was run a power cable with an inline fuse right from the car battery to one of the cable openings in the firewall all the way under the trim panels into the trunk. Wasnt too hard to do. Then i just connected an rca converter to the factory stereo and connected the amps rca cable to it. Vwalla

  9. Matt, technically you could connect your 2011 Ford Fiesta amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2011 Ford Fiesta is on and off whenever your 2011 Ford Fiesta is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2011 Ford Fiesta amplifier install.

  10. All, I’m not sure what I am doing wrong, but the brown/white accessory wire is not showing 12V for me with my volt meter… I know there are two brown/white wires (one is for the speaker), but I am having no luck finding a remote wire that I can connect to my external amplifier… any advice is appreciated.
