Paul, it sounds like your alarm shock sensor is too sensitive. You need to lower the shocks sensor sensitivity to prevent you alarm from going off when cars drive by. Some alarm systems have external shock sensors which can be adjusted externally. Some alarm systems have built in shock sensors which can only be adjusted via alarm programming. If you have never adjusted or programmed your alarm system before, our advice is that you take your car to an experienced alarm installer. It should not take more than 30 minutes from start to finish to adjust it. Hope this helps. Good luck with your shock sensor adjustment.
2003 Mitsubishi Galant, GTZ, alarms for no reason day, night, parked and locked, why? Also where is the master fuse to disable the alarm system without effecting other systems. Thank you, Paul
