I have a 1995 Ford F-150 with a Ford security system. On the module it reads, “Ford Vehicle Security System”. I have been having a problem where driving or sitting still the truck would shut off, sometimes it would start back up and sometimes it might not right away but eventually it would. Sometimes, I can park the truck, and when I go to start it later it will only crank the engine and not start.I have replaced everything and today replaced the ignition box on the steering column. It started the first time but not the second. It will turn over but not fire. So, while turning the key, cranking the engine, I tapped on the security module. The truck tried to start everytime I connected with the module. Is this a somewhat common problem when the module is in need of replacement? Anyone?
