The 10th generation Accord features Honda Sensing integration that ties directly into the audio and display system. 2018–2022 Honda Accord Radio Troubleshooting

Having 2018–2022 Honda Accord radio problems or issues with your audio system? Browse common problems and the solutions to learn how to fix your issue on your Honda Accord.

Radio Is On But No Sound
Diagnosis – If a single speaker experiences a short circuit, the rest of the speakers will automatically shut off to prevent damage to the whole 2018–2022 Honda Accord audio system. A quick way to detect such issues is by paying attention to the opening chime when you start your car. This sound should consistently play regardless of other factors. So, if you don’t hear it, it’s a clear indicator that there’s a problem with your 2018–2022 Honda Accord speakers.
Fix – Check the wires going to each speaker and make sure they are connected securely. If your speaker wires don’t have any issues, check the factory wire harness in the back of your radio for any loose wires. If the radio wire harness doesn’t have any issues, find the factory amplifier harness and check for any problems. If you haven’t found a solution, you will need to go to a car audio technician, Honda specialist, or the Honda dealer to fix your problem.
How to Reboot 2018–2022 Honda Accord Head Unit (6-Speed Only)
1. Check your current Uptime by going to Settings > System > About > Status > Uptime on your head unit. Remember your uptime.
2. Make sure the car is off then put your shifter into the reverse position.
3. Turn on the car ignition but do NOT start the car.
4. Take your shifter out of reverse and put it into neutral.
5. The head unit will reboot automatically. Wait for the head unit to fully reboot.
6. Re-check your uptime to ensure you rebooted. If the Uptime has been restarted, you successfully rebooted your head unit.
