  1. Hi your website is awesome . Do you have the radio wiring diagram for a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe without the Infinity Radio and without the subwoofer ? Keep up the good work and I would love to contribute to the site by giving more installation tips once I’m done .

  2. Robert, no your 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe does not have RCA jacks in the back of the radio. If you are planning on installing an aftermarket amplifier, you will need:

RCA Line Out Converter for 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe

If you plan on integrating your MP3 player or iPod to your 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, you will need:

Aux Input Adapter for 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe audio installation.

  3. i have a 2008 hyundai santa fe and have a infinity head unit but want to pull it out and replace it. how do i get it out? do i have to pull apart the whole dash? or is there a way to get just the head unit out. anyone?

  4. Raymond, as much as we would like to help you with your 2010 Hyundai i45, we only have information about United States Domestic Market cars. Good luck with your search.

  5. David, the Scosche RCA line out converter is used to output an audio signal to an external amplifier. It is not used for inputting an audio signal to your 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe factory radio. Unfortunately, a basic aux input is not available for your 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe but an Apple iPod adapter is available. Here is the Apple iPod adapter you need:

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  6. On the Scosche RCA Line out converter, is it possible to also use that for just a basic 3.5mm jack to rca adapter. I really want to be able to hook up any mp3 player but there is no aux in this car. I’m looking for the simplest quality solution.

  7. Dominic, most late model vehicles do not have rca outputs on the factory radio to feed an audio signal to your aftermarket amplifier. You would have to install a line out converter to supply an audio output. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required.

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  8. Hi, I just purchased a new Santa Fe 2009 and I would like to hoop up my amplifier along with my woofer. Is there a way I can plug it in? The amp works with RCA wires along with a trigger wire but I do not know if the radio has any RCA output for an amp. Thank you very much in advance. Dominic From Canada

  9. Pete, as far as we know there isn’t an aftermarket adapter that is compatible with a factory navigation and XM tuner system. Good luck on your search.

  10. Pete Ingenloff

Do you know of an iPOD adapter for the 2008 Santa Fe with navigation and XM satellite tuner (eg, I have the GPS model). Thanks.

  11. I have a 2008 Santa Fe with the Infinity system. Is the XM radio built into the head unit or is it a separate attachment? I am trying to add on an iPod adapter. Thanks.

  12. I purchased an aftermarket radio and gps/dvd for a ’07 Santa Fe , in the install it asks for two wires to be installed to the wheel + (red wire), and wheel – (black wire). I believe this is for the stereo controls on the steering wheel, does anyone have a color code for the steering wheel wires or diagram or advice on which wires I need to connect these to, perhaps one just attaches them to the existing wire harness without going to the steering wheel wires. thanks and much appreciated.

  13. Sohi, unfortunately, we don’t have this information but maybe someone from the Modified Life community can post that information here. Good luck.

  14. Cristina, the only way to find out specific information about a factory radio would be to contact the dealer. If you don’t feel comfortable contacting a particular Hyundai dealer, simply call another Hyundai dealer in your area. Not all dealers are the same when it comes to customer service, some are great and some aren’t. Hope this helps. Good luck.

How do I find out the manufacturer of the radio in my 2008 Santa Fe? The radio has
XM Satellite radio and I have XM service and want to download a manual for the radio, but I need to know the hardware manufacturer’s name. There is no name on the radio itself and the Santa Fe manual doesn’t provide this information. I emailed Hyundai and they told me to contact the dealer we purchased from but I don’t want to because of a bad overall experience with the dealer.
