  2. David, as much as we would like to help you, most of the radio wiring information listed on our website is provided by our visitors. 3. Can I get a 2012 Dodge Charger Car Audio Wiring Schematic I assume it would be the same as the 2011 model but I don’t see it either. I also wondered would it be possible to mount a set of MM691 Polk Audio 6×9 in the read deck. I know they will not fit from the top but wondered if I could install them under the rear deck instead.

  4. Where is the best place to install a set of tweeters without cutting any material on the panels of the front doors of a 2008 Dodge Charger? I want to tie in to the front door speaker’s without ruining the panel’s. anyone? thanx.

  5. Jorge, yes you can. The only problem is most late model vehicles do not have RCA outputs on the factory radio to feed an audio signal to your aftermarket amplifier so you would have to install a line out converter to supply an audio output. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Dodge Charger SXT amplifier installation.

  6. jorge delatorre

I wanted to install my two amps that I took off my chevrolet impala there a crunch 4channel 1000watts and a kole 2channel amp 1000watts onto my 2008 dodge charger sxt that I just got but the only thing is. Is it possible to connect amps to a stock stereo? If it is possible are the wires the same? So I can just pop open the dash to check it out?

  7. Aaron, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2008 Dodge Charger stereo or factory amplifier (if equipped) may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Dodge Charger radio troubleshooting.

  8. My 2008 dodge charger sxt stereo just stopped working one day. How can I get it back working or do I need to take it to an experienced electronic shop?

    thanks, Casey

  14. Matthew, technically you could connect your 2008 Dodge Charger amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2008 Dodge Charger is on and off whenever your 2008 Dodge Charger is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. You will also require a line-out converter. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck.
