  1. Adam, when splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. As for your remote turn on wire, technically you could connect your 2007 GMC Acadia amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2007 GMC Acadia is on and off whenever your 2007 GMC Acadia is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 GMC Acadia amplifier install.

  2. I want to add an amp and a sub box in my 2009 acadia I only have the 6 speaker option. where is the easiest spot to splice into the speaker wires to add a hi/low level adapter? and what color wires to look for to hook up to the amps remote turn on? I just don’t want to start pulling apart panels I don’t have too. I have been doing installs for over 20 years in my own vehicles.

  3. need wiring diagram for GMC Acadia audio unit (bose) – specifically need to know whisch wire is the MUTE wire – thanks
