Nick, technically you could connect your 2008 Ford Escape amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2008 Ford Escape is on and off whenever your 2008 Ford Escape is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Ford Escape amplifier install.
