  1. I recently changed my OEM head unit for an after market head unit. This was the first time I have changed a head unit. The wire diagram was a great help. Easy to follow and made for a quick job. Of course, there all ways is at least one snag. As I was connecting the illumination wire (yellow/ red) to the after market wire harness, there was a another wire not listed on the diagram. The wire is red/ yellow. There is no other wire on the harness to connect to. It’s not a ground wire, because it has a current. I couldn’t find any info on the web for this wire. It isn’t hooked up to the head unit and every thing seem to work fine. if anyone has any idea what this wire is or where it goes, please reply.
