i was hooking up a new system in my car and now all of a sudden the stereo doesnt work along with the keyless entry, clock, and interior lights…anyone have any ideas?
Steve, it sounds like you blew out a fuse or two. Double check ALL your fuses and you will probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
My 2005 Kia Spectra radio…..i cannor change the volume as the knob spins without catching whatever it takes to up or down the volume…..do I need to buy a new radio??
C, it sounds like your volume knob is broken. You can replace your 2005 Kia Spectra stereo with an aftermarket one or you can source another factory radio from your local dealer. It would probably be more cost effective to just replace your broken radio with an aftermarket one. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2005 Kia Spectra radio replacement.
im trying to put an aftermarket jvc head unit in my 2005 spectra…but the stock wiring harness is too big. anyone know where i can get an adapter because i went to autozone and they said they had no parts for the 05 spectra

i have a 2005 kia spectra ex and i would like to add a jack to my factory stereo to hook up my ipod. what do i need to buy to do this??
Brittany, you will need an automotive auxiliary input adapter. This adapter will allow you to input any mp3 player, portable music player or Apple iPod into your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the bluetooth transmitter you will need:

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2005 Kia Spectra bluetooth transmitter installation.
Does anyone know how the antenna on a 2005 Kia Spectra runs from the trunk to the dash? There appears to be an intermittent in the antenna connection, and lately it is more disconnected than connected. I unscrewed the antenna from its socket and that doesn’t make any difference. can anyone help?
