Hi,
I am trying to find out the specs for my factory stereo in my 2004 Toyota Tundra. What I want to know is what is the max wattage. I looked through the owners manual with little luck. It is a 1 CD player, AM/FM, with no cassette deck. I’m thinking of replacing it with an aftermarket CD/MP3 stereo, with a max output of 220 Watts.
thanks,
Mark

Anthony, radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Toyota dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your radio.

The radio amplifier on my 2005 Toyota Tundra has died. I want to just bypass it since I’m putting in a new head unit but I don’t want to rewire the whole truck. The amplifier is a Panasonic unit with two connectors so I would like to just plug in an adapter between the 2 plugs. If I can’t find an adapter, I need to know the wiring harness wire colors to make my own adapter. Can anyone help? Thanks!
