  1. Randy, most vehicles have a factory hole with a rubber or plastic grommet at the firewall. This is usually the standard place to run a power wire through the firewall. If one of these holes are not available or not large enough, a hole will have to be drilled to accommodate your power wire. Choose something on the engine side of the firewall as reference and try to match it up on the interior side of the firewall. This will make sure you do not drill through anything important. Then drill a hole somewhere near or beside your reference point. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Lincoln Aviator amplifier installation.

  2. Im using a 0 gauge wire to power my amp but i cant find a place in the firewall to pass it through. do u have any other options for me?

  3. Matt, technically if your the wires feeding your factory amplifier is being fed by a 4-ohm audio signal you can simply hook those up to the inputs on your aftermarket amp. If the signal feeding your factory amp is not a 4-ohm signal then your audio setup may not work or sound properly. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  4. Hello i relly need help, as ive been driving my 2004 lincoln aviator for a few weeks now with no sub woofer and its driveing me crazy. I bought a 12 inch sub and box also a 300watt infinity amp. I was wondering can i just take the wires running out of the amp (that orginnaly went to the factory sub) slice the wires and conncet them to my aftermarket amp. I allready ran an amp. kit to get power and a ground. i just need to connect it to my factory system. Any info would be helpful thanks for your time.
