  1. putting subs in my ford explorer and i wanted to know how long a wiring kit i need to reach the back. do you think 17 feet is good?

  2. Manny, it depends on which way you’re routing the power wire from the engine bay to the trunk. Also, it depends on whether the amp will be mounted on the driver side or the passenger side. We recommend you run your power cable on the same side as the battery and mount the amp on the side side as the battery to insure that you have enough power cable length. Choose a amp kit with 20 feet of power cable to make sure you have enough length. Here’s where we get our amplifier kits for installs:

Good luck with your subwoofer and amp installation.

  3. I second what ModifiedLife said to manny. in addition, in my own experience, 17 feet is indeed long enough. run your power wire along the driver side

  4. I am putting a kenwood stero system, the problem I am having is getting power for my rear enteraniment system. What color wire is the power for the rear system. I get power if I hook up the OEM factory radio but not if I hook up another stero system. Any solutions?
