hooking up rca jacks to my stock infinity Mitsubishi stereo, i have the rca adapter but not sure which 4 wires from my rca converter go too which speaker wires from my stereo, thanks
Sean, you can hook up any of your speaker wires to provide a audio signal to your rca converter. Hope this helps. Good luck.
which wire would i connect to my remote wire from my amp?
Justin, technically you could connect your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse is on and off whenever your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your amplifier install.
can you tell me which wires i connect to inline converter too and where factory amp is located at thanks 2003 mits. eclipse GT .. with infinity factory deck.
Bobby, when splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you have never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT inline converter installation.
I have a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse gts with an aftermaket sony explode radio which i wire myself. I just bought a 2 din touch screen radio with gps and it brings a wire for me to connect to my car so that i can used my radio controls on the sterring wheel. I only know how to wire a simple car radio and this new radio has different wires ive never seen. how hard would it be to wire it correctly.
I have a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse and i just bought it and i have power to the radio but no sound not even static what could it possibly be ?
Amy, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse may have a factory amp that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car radio amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier to output sound from your speakers. Double check that your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse amp turn on wire is connected. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse stereo installation.
which wire is the 2003 mitsubishi eclipse gts power wire going to the factory amplifier? anyone know?
I have a aftermarket radio in my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Everything works great but my clock on top of the dash won’t come on.
Austin, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have the clock tied into another circuit not labeled as clock. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, your clock might be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced car electronics installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse clock troubleshooting.
