  1. Ken, double check ALL your fuses using a Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Escape radio troubleshooting.

  2. 2003 Ford Escape – radio and interior lights do not turn on. Power door locks also only work when the car is on or key is in ACC position. I checked the B2N1 & 2 fuses and they’re good to go. anyone?

  3. DanMario, most late model vehicles do not have RCA outputs on the factory radio to feed an audio signal to your aftermarket amplifier. You would have to install a line out converter to supply an audio output. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Factory Amplifier Integration Wiring Harness for 2003 Ford Escape

When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Escape stereo installation.

  4. I just put a new stereo in my 2003 ford escape. But I cannot find a wire harness to in clude the subwoofer. I’ve looked everywher. And I’m not sure about getting it off net cuz I can’t see if it has the extra ports

  5. Hector, double check ALL your fuses using a Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, you may have a short or loose connection on your radio wire harness. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Escape radio troubleshooting.
