Would a 2004 Kia Spectra car stereo fit and work in a 2002 Kia Spectra?
I am needing to know how to unlock the radio. It comes on for 5 minutes then asks for a code, which I have. but when I enter it it what do I push then? I have tried all the buttons and only when I push the select button is when it tells me ERR. What do I do? And if I am entering the wrong code then what?
Ryan, its sounds like your radio may be in safe mode or anti-theft mode. You will need a unlock code to get your radio working again. Radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Kia dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 2004 Kia Spectra radio unlocking.

Did you work out what to push in order to accept the entered code. I am in similar situation, I have the unlock code for radio which I have entered but what button to press so radio can accept the code.

I had the same problem with a 2002 Kia spectra, and the code ended up being 1111, so I would try things like all the same number, or 1234 or something like that.
