Richard, ask and you shall receive: 1987 Ford Thunderbird Car Light Bulb Sizing Chart
Need the bulb list for 1987 Ford Thunderbird V-6, especially the two bulbs which illuminate the digital speedomerter. Last time I replaced them, the original Ford bulb number was no longer made, but I found a substitute on a F-150 truck Website. Unfortunately, I’ve lost the record of the original number and the substitute. Neither the Ford dealer or any of several parts stores I’ve checked can tell me what bulb I need unless I first open the dash, making the car undrivable, and bring them the burnt-out bulb for matching. It takes me 2-3 hours to open the instrument cluster, replace bulbs, and reassemble. I don’t want to have to open and close the cluster twice, once to secure the burned out bulb, then reassemble to drive to the store, finally open again and reassemble to replace bulb.
