I purchases a used 2000 civic that came with an aftermarket radio. My car was broken into and that radio was stolen. It was a single DIN so I imagine the stock radio was too. I recently purchased a honda OE dual unit tape and CD player which I don’t think my car is set up for since my harness can only plug into the cd player/radio unit. I think the aftermarket sound system may have something to do with that. I currently have amp plugs that have nowhere to plug into on the head unit I purchased, no connector from my harness to plug into the tape player unit, and I am also missing the connector/jack from my harness to plug into the antenna and/or speaker outlet on the head unit I ordered (I can’t tell what should plug in there). Is there an adapter harness I can buy to plug into my existing harness that will accommodate the dual head unit I purchased? If it is possible to, how can I make this work? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David
Thanks for the info… Bought a car and they cut the wiring out so I couldn’t clip the stereo harness. The harness kit is so much easier, Mahalo!
