  1. Ric, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, check your after market radio connections behind your head unit. If all your wire connections are good, take a look at your battery terminals wires. Sometimes when your 2000 Dodge Durango battery wire terminals are not in full contact with battery posts because of corrosion, your radio could cut in and out. Try removing your battery wire terminals from the battery, clean them with a battery terminal cleaner and re-install. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible radio troubleshooting.

  2. I just bought a 2000 Chrysler Sebring JX Convertible and there is no infiniti badging on the stereo system. after driving for a while the speakers cut out absolutely no sound then they will intermittently return. I put a new aftermarket head unit in it and have the same problem i have been doing car audio for seven year and never ran into this type of problem with out a factory amplifier. I hooked the amp turn on wire up and the problem persists. i was wondering if there was anything else i could try before I replace all the speakers. also all fuses throughout the system are new.

  3. How do I find loose connection in my stereo. I know nothing about stereo systems. I have a Chrysler Sebring 2 door convertible. I drove over a series of speed bumps and it vibrated something lose. The stereo works and has power, just no sound. Please help, any suggestions are most welcome.

  4. Mark, the amplifier is turning on when you play your radio because you have the antenna trigger wire hooked up to your amplifier instead of the amp turn-on trigger wire. The antenna trigger wire only powers up when the radio is on but powers down when the CD is playing. Our advice is to connect your 2000 Chrysler Sebring amplifier turn on wire to the accessory switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2000 Chrysler Sebring is on and off whenever your 2000 Chrysler Sebring is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chrysler Sebring stereo install.

  5. I am trying to find the wire diagram for the 2000 Chrysler Sebring 2 door convertible with the upgraded Infinity stereo. I am installing an aftermarket head unit and the amplifier will only come on when the radio is playing, no sound with a cd or ipod.
