Nick, your vehicle may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. Unfortunately, we don’t have this information but maybe someone from the Modified Life community can post that information here. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I have a year 2000 Crysler 300M. The front center speaker (located in the dash) is shot and I’d like to disconnect it rather than replace it. Any ideas on how to do that?
Same question as Mike. Front center speaker is blown in my 2000 300M. Like to find the wire going to it so I can clip it. Thanks….
Future reference… If you don’t get any sound through your speakers the amp wire is the green/red wire. You need to hook it to your radio. On my radio it was called the “system remote” wire… Hope this saves people a lot of time.
C, thanks for the 2000 Chrysler 300M amplifier trigger wire information contribution!
When i hook up my amp to the car i get engine disturbance threw the speakers, but they are fine when the engine is shut off. It is a 2000 Chrysler 300 its a Kicker Impulse 352xi amplifier with Kicker KS6930 speakers. The power wire is hooked up to the lead wire coming from the battery, and the amp is grounded to the body in the trunk. Thanks for any suggestions.
Marc, make sure your power cable is run on one side of the car and your RCA cables are run on the other side of the car. Also, make sure you are using RCA cables that are shielded. Shielded RCA Cables will prevent engine noise from entering your audio output. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chrysler 300 audio troubleshooting.
I’ve got a 2000 Chrysler 300M and would like to hook an MP3 player up. Unsure whether the factory stereo has the necessary connections to run a cable or install an audio jack? Please help..thank you so much!
Tim, we suggest you purchase an automotive auxiliary input adapter. This adapter will allow you to input any Apple iPod, mp3 player or portable music player into your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the bluetooth transmitter you will need:

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chrysler 300M bluetooth transmitter installation.
where do u hook the amp wire in the back of the 2000 Chrysler 300M radio. im thinking positive (red battery wire). can u help?
J, technically you could connect your 2000 Chrysler 300M amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire (red/white). That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2000 Chrysler 300M is on and off whenever your 2000 Chrysler 300M is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chrysler 300M amplifier install.
