  1. Is there a fuse for the 12V radio constant wire on a 1999 acura integra? I found the 12V switched wire fuse, labeled “radio” and it is fine, it tests fine all the way to the radio when the key is on. It is the Constant wire that has no power, which also has disabled the dashboard clock. Doesn’t seem to have disabled anything else, dash lights, tail lights all work fine.

Nice resource here on your website!

  2. Steve, your car may have another fuse for the constant wire. One of the easier ways to find the blown fuse is to simply test all the fuses in your fuse box. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. Found it. I tested every fuse. The fuse for the Blue/White Radio Constant Wire 12V is under the hood. It is a mini 7.5 amp one. All but 2 of the constant power fuses are under the hood, instead of in the cab.

This fuse also supplies constant power to the clock in the dash.

where is the remote wire for the radio? i installed my sound system but i am not sure which one is the remote wire for the amp. i thought it may have been the blue/white one but for this wiring diagram it says that is the constant wire. is the remote wire and constant wire the same thing?

  5. Christopher, technically you could connect your 1999 Acura Integra amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1999 Acura Integra is on and off whenever your 1999 Acura Integra is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
