  1. Ryan, technically you could connect your 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass is on and off whenever your 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass amplifier install.

  2. I’m trying to install my amp/subwoofer in my 1998 oldsmobile cutlass, which wire is the amp trigger wire?

  3. i just instaleld a aftermarket sterro in my 98 gls cutlass…how do i hook up my power wire witht he battary having a side post terminal?

  4. Ty, double check ALL your fuses and you will probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  5. I have no power on my orange constant wire but have power on the switch yellow. See no signs of a related fuse in any of the three fuse boxes. Is there a hidden one that I am unaware of?? If not have you seen this problem before and what did you do to fix it?? It was all working fine until I was working on my cassette mechanism and then it all quit on me for no apparent reason! Am lost!!

  6. Gabbie, the power wire is orange (car radio battery constant 12v+ wire). Hope this helps. Good luck.
