i am installing a after market (sony) stereo deck in a 98 montero sport. the stock system is an infinity system and appears to have a round plug for the outputs 8 pin which would account for the speaker wires that are not coming out of the standard plug. is this round plug going to an amp? and if it is where is it or is there another harness adapter for this system? thank you for your help.

I Installed an after market (sony) stereo deck in a 98 montero sport. the stock system is an infinity system with 2 OHM speakers. I replaced them with 4 OHM which degraded the factory sound. There is a a round plug for the outputs 8 pin which would account for the speaker wires that are not coming out of the standard plug. Is this round plug going to an amp; and if it is where is the amp or is there another harness adapter for this system? thank you for your help
