  1. Alex, as much as we would like to help you, most of the car stereo wiring information listed on our website is provided by our visitors. 2. @Alex, look again at your door panel lable, i think the first rav4 came out in 1996 ? i dont think you could have a 1994?

@the community, hello i would like to install a sub and amp in the back. I suspect ill need to use the high pass(?) inputs I.E. tap in to the rear speaker lines to feed the signal , But what im wondering is if there is a usable power source in the rear or if i will need to run a new line from the battery . If i need to run a new line what side should i run it down and how should i go about doing this with out too much trim removal? or a link to a sub/amp installation diagram. thanks much, Jason.

  3. Jason, thanks for the Toyota RAV4 information contribution! As for your amplifier power source, we advise that you run a power wire for your car battery to your trunk. Any power source found in your trunk will not provide enough power to run an aftermarket amplifier. The battery on your vehicle is located on the passenger side so you should run your power cable on the passenger side of your 1996 Toyota RAV4. When running your power wire you want to use the shortest route from your battery to your amplifier. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1996 Toyota RAV4 amplifier installation.
