  1. Josh, you can strip away the wires and tape down the correct wires but we suggest you invest in some solid wire taps. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. As far as your amplifier remote turn-on wire goes, technically you could connect your 1996 Lexus GS300 amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1996 Lexus GS300 is on and off whenever your 1996 Lexus GS300 is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Cadillac Deville amplifier install. Hope this helps.   2. I am trying to hook my amp to this system with a line out converter. Do I strip away the wires and tape down to the correct wires? And where do I put my remote turn-on wire? It says n/a?
