  1. Thank you so very much. The dealer couldn’t even give me straight answer on the wire codes for my 94 celica. I probably could have figured it out but your site made things sooooooooo much easier and faster. I can not thank you enough.

  2. On my 1994 Toyota Camry LE’s stereo I noticed a round connector (left site looking at the back of the stereo). Can I somehow use the R IN and L IN connectors in that round connector to get a Line In through my stereo? Thanks.

  3. Mike, the round connector is used for a factory cd changer. As far as we know, you can’t splice into the cd changer plug to make a standard line-in. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  4. I have 1994 Toyota Camry XLE. The Amplifier that resides below the passenger seat has gone bad. I am looking for a cheap one with which I can make my radio, tape and CD work. Can you please let me know if I can replace that part with something that is available in the market or else is there any way I can make it work without the amplifier?

  5. Yogi, you have a couple of different options. You can go to the dealer but this can be expensive. Another option is to visit some local junkyards and get lucky finding a spare amplifier. Lastly, you can try taking your car to an experienced installer and have them bypass the amplifier all together. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  6. need a wiring diagram for a 1992 Toyota Previa , all the radio wires are cut so i cant figure it out. thanks.

  7. Hi I have a 1994 Toyota Camry LE 4dr. Sedan. I was wondering what kind of amplifier I might already have and what I need to buy if I want to put in new door speakers. Ill eventually get stereo and back window speaks but I wanted to start with the front as my budget grows… so far i was looking at Polk Audio DB651 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers. but the amplifiers all i was hoping for right now or even the wiring diagram thanks alot

  8. Duncan, as far as we know, the 1994 Toyota Camry LE does not have a factory amplifier. You will need a set of 4-ohm speakers to replace the front speakers. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  9. Found you by chance, but sooooooo glad I did, thanks for the wiring diagram on the 1994 Toyota Camry, same as Ivan’s comment, previous owner cut out all the wiring and it was difficult to figure out the correct wiring for a replacement stereo, your hard work just made mine a lot easier, Thanks!!

  10. Is the wiring diagram for a 1994 Corolla DX the same as this? If not, I am asking, so I shall receive!
Also, any tips on installation or what unit/speaker config to consider under 400 that you can plug an iPod into? Hey, just thought I’d ask :-) Its for my sons who are pretty good kids.

  11. I have a 94 Camry XLE. I recently installed an aftermarket radio using the harness kit you can buy from any auto parts store. Problem I’m having now is that my dash light dimmer switch burns up when I turn on the head lights. I plugged the factory harness back together and I no longer have that problem. I had to replace the radio because the factory amplifier went bad. I’ve double checked all my connections and they all look good/are correct. Any thoughts? Thanks

  12. i have a 1994 toyota camry model and want to be able to connect my ipod up to the stereo by cable instead of an radio transmitter or cassette deck transmitter. I’ve read that there may be a connection or auxiliary in plug at the rear of the stereo face. without risking damage to my radio by checking, is there are plug that i would be able to plug a ipod cable into, and is there any way or connecting one for superficial access when the radio is in its mount? thanks for the website. cheers

  13. Skip, most late model vehicles do not have inputs to feed an mp3 audio signal to your factory stereo. You would have to install bluetooth transmitter. A bluetooth transmitter will allow you to connect any bluetooth device to your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the bluetooth transmitter you will need:

Bluetooth Transmitter for 1994 Toyota Camry

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Toyota Camry bluetooth transmitter installation.

  14. thank you for this i just bought the car and the old owner took out the stock car stereo and put in a kenwood stereo. he only had 3 speakers hooked up and there was a lot of bare wires now. i know which wires are the left speakers and the other wires that are not in use, i can tape them up. thank you very much

  15. i have a 1994 toyota camry and my car radio died on me i suspect a fuse blew could u please advise on where that fuse is and which one its is. thank you in advance.

  16. Al, go to your fuse box and the fuse box cover should have a diagram showing you which fuse is the radio circuit. Simply pull the blown fuse and replace it with a new fuse with the same power rating. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Toyota Camry radio fuse replacement.

  17. Thank you alot for this diagram, i’m having some trouble with my corolla’s wiring now. The dash and personal lights are not coming on after a new stereo install (i suspect the now empty green illumination wire.) the green wire was paired with another wire that was grounded, so i figured everything would be ok. anyone?

  18. No matter what I try my radio won’t work in my 1994 toyota camry. I hooked the radio up like to the proper wires but the radio still won’t turn on I’ve checked the fuse behind the change try on the left side of the steering wheel and its fine but the radio still won’t work. What do i do?

  19. Wynston, double check ALL your fuses using a Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Toyota Camry radio troubleshooting.
