Sue, not all car alarms
are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to remove the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to remove. Hope this helps. I have a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder, Manual. I don’t lock my car doors. When I turn the ignition off, get out of the car and close the door, the alarm arms itself. When I go back into the car (open any door) the alarm sets off. I’ve been disconnecting the battery and reconnecting, is there another way to disarm the anti-theft/alarm system?
If it’s in the box under the seat, how do I get to it and which wire is it?
