Justin, if you are getting a little sound at max then its probably either the radio or the amplifier. Try replacing the amplifier with an amplifier that you know works for sure and see if sound output is normal. If the problem still exists then try replacing your radio with a radio that you know works for sure and see if sound output is normal. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Lincoln Continental amplifier installation.
I installed an aftermarket stereo in my 94 continental. I wired everything propely proper ground sub and amp were both tested and are fully functional. i have a 50×4 pioneer deh4300 deck a 12 ” jl sub and a sony explode 600 watt amp. ive triple checked all my wiring all grounds and inputs. the deck is 2 channel so it only has the one set of rca outputs. the amp has power, everything on the deck is fully funtional. the sub just wont put out any power and im sure the sub is in good condition and works fine. i tried a different sub and it put out a little sound but everything was tured on max and was barely doing anything. any advise you have would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Corey, it sounds like your factory amplifier may be faulty. Our advice is to have an experienced audio installer or your local dealer troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.
