  1. Bryan, yes it is possible to add a subwoofer and an amplifier to the factory radio. It does take some wiring knowledge and installation know-how. You would require an aftermarket amplifier, amplifier wiring, subwoofer and a speaker to rca line out converter. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  2. If your amp has its own wiring harness attached to(most of them are right next to your RCA’s input), then you don’t need the LOC. Just connect the rear speakers wire with those wire that attached with the amp and before you do anything make sure to check your wiring diagrams first then you can go ahead and do the installation. Each car has different wire schematics and colors. Don’t assume that all cars have the same wire colors, that’s wrong. It’s more complicated than what you think. I’ve done this to my Honda LX-P 08 and it works great. It has a stock radio, mp3, WMA, aux input for ipod, etc…I didn’t have to use the LOC when I install my aftermarket sub and amp but I still run my RCA’s cable in case for the future installation. Have a wonderful day!!!!

  3. I get no voice from the 1994 Lexus ES300 speakers, reinstalled the original radio and no voice/sound either. What is the problem?

  4. Fernando, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 1994 Lexus ES300 may have a factory amp that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car radio amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier to output sound from your speakers. Double check that your 1994 Lexus ES300 amp turn on wire is connected. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Lexus ES300 stereo installation.

  5. Juan, it sounds like your 2003 Kia Spectra radio seek/scan buttons may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem or have them replace your stereo. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Lexus ES300 stereo troubleshooting.
