If I just want to replace the two front speakers, how to the wires connect to the speakers? are there ends to the speaker wire that i can just plug in or will i need to solder the wire to the new speakers? can I swap out any 4×6 speakers with the ones that are in my jeep now or will I need special ones?
Luke, you would need to splice or solder on the wires to the new speaker terminals. When choosing speakers to replace your factory speakers, make sure you choose the right impedance (ohm rating) and the correct speaker depth size. The impedance (ohm rating) for the 1993 Jeep Wrangler is 4 ohms. The correct speaker depth size can be found by measuring the speaker from the speaker cone to the magnet. Hope this helps.
