  1. I am having a problem with my car stereo i have to put both yellow and red to the stereo red for power and i hav no memory what can i do??????

  2. Gina, you have to wire the yellow wire to the radio constant wire and wire the red wire to the radio switched ignition wire. The radio constant wire always sends power to the radio to save your radio stations and other audio settings. The switch ignition wire sends power to your radio only when the key is in the ignition and your 1991 Honda Civic is on. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1991 Honda Civic radio installation.

  3. I put a new aftermarket radio in my ’91 Honda Civic. I bought a wiring harness and connected all the like colors together. Everthing works but the problem is that the sound quality is poor. It’s as though the bass is turned down all the way and the treble is turned up all the way. The original radio sounded much better. I think the speakers are connected properly, since they seem to be in phase, the left to right balance control works properly and the bass and treble controls work. The sound just seems to be biased toward the high frequency end of the spectrum. Its as though it was a bi-amped stereo and only the high frequency amp was connected (but of course it’s not a bi-amped stereo, it’s a cheap Bravo brand) Anybody have any ideas?
