  1. Anthony, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, check your after market radio connections behind your head unit. If all your wire connections are good, take a look at your battery terminals wires. Sometimes when your 2003 Ford Expedition battery wire terminals are not in full contact with battery posts because of corrosion, your radio could cut in and out. Try removing your battery wire terminals from the battery, clean them with a battery terminal cleaner and re-install. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Expedition radio troubleshooting.

  2. does anyone know why my 2003 Ford Expedition radio cut off and on it plays for five seconds and then turns off but than comes back on and then cut off again. its been doing this on both my ford cars. anyone know whats wrong with my 2003 Ford Expedition factory stereo?

  3. Lee, we suggest you purchase an automotive auxiliary input adapter. This adapter will allow you to input any Apple iPod, mp3 player or portable music player into your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the adapter you will need:

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Expedition aux input adapter installation.

  4. Does anyone have the wiring schematic for the 6 disk CD changer (external) used in the 2003 FORD Expedition (stereo with NAV), specifically the connection of the CD changer to the head unit? I want to either A.) Make my own AUX input or find an adapter that will replace and connect to the existing CD Changer connection (I don’t use the CD changer) or B.) purchase an aftermarket adapter. I found the (FRDN/PC-POD2 Ford iPod Adapter) but I really want the AUX 8mm connection. Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!!
