I would like to hook a Sirius radio directly to my 2003 Ford Excursion car radio. The FM wireless reception is not great. There are no jacks on the back for an input. Can I splice in to a wire for FM in or is there some type of adapter I can purchase. anyone? Thanks. Carl

Dew, you would need five components:
1. Car Subwoofer
2. Car Subwoofer Box
3. Car Audio Amplifier that matches your subwoofer power needs and ohm rating.
4. Car Amplifier Wiring Kit that can handle the power needs of your amplifier.
5. RCA Line Out Converter to feed an audio signal from your factory radio to your aftermarket amplifier.
When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Ford Excursion amplifier and subwoofer installation.
I am wanting to add a sub woofer to my stock stereo in my 2003 Ford Excursion Limited. I have the 6 CD unit in dash with factory DVD. What do I need to accomplish this task to the factory stereo?
