Power Door Lock Negative Wire (-): White (1-Wire Door Lock System). This vehicle is a 1-wire door locking system, lock requires a straight (-) negative and unlock requires a (-) negative through a 1500 ohm resistor, some units will also require 2 extra relays.

Door Trigger Positive Wire (+): This vehicle has a green/black (-) for the drivers door in the drivers kick panel and a light blue (-) for all other doors and is located in the drivers running board harness heading under the drivers seat. When connecting to an alarm system, use both door trigger wires and diode isolate. On the 2 door the light blue (-) is located in the passenger kick panel.

  1. Carreline, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to remove your car alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to do. Hope this helps.     I have a 2002 Oldmobile (black)(4-6 cylinder) with a Alarm Security System. The alarm system light is on and it is keeping my car from starting. Could you please tell me how do I cut the alarm completely off…so my car could start. The security system is affecting the alarm in my car. Please respond immediately.
