    I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma 4dr Crew Cab. There are speakers in dash, front doors and rear doors. Have a factory AM/FM CD with casset player on floorboard console. Putting in new Sony CDX-GT630UI, but need a wiring diagram.

    i have a GMC Yukon SLT without the bose system. im trying to install a new radio but i dont get any sound, everything else works. thanks

    Eric, your GMC Yukon may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car stereo amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier.     If you have the aux cassette player mounted in the lower center console there is a PINK wire on the wire harness for the cassette that needs to be hooked up with your Blue/White amp trigger wire from the aftermarket headunit. Hope this helps, worked for me!

    Does anyone know where I can get the wiring harness for a 2002 Yukon Denali XL (Bose system) that has the data link for a good price. The ones I have found cost more than the head unit I am putting in. A work around would be fine as well.

    Jeff, you will have to bypass the amp in order to put an after market stereo into your 2002 Yukon Denali XL with Bose Audio. Here is the wire harness you need:

    hello i have a 1995 gmc yukon slt 6 speaker system. i recently installed a new deck and i have only 4 speakers now i am wondering if this is because of the factory amp. my question is, does the aftermarket head unit turning on that amp or do i need to hook it up with the blue/white wire from the head unit to turn it on. anyone know? thanks.
