Parking Light Positive Wire (+): Remove the light switch module from the dash and remove the cover, a ribbon cable connects the switch to the module will be exposed. With the switch facing towards you interrupt the 4th wire from the left with a relay.

Power Door Lock Negative Wire (-): Blue/Red
Power Door Lock Negative Wire Location: At General Module (54-Pin Plug, Pin 22). The general module is a white box located behind the glove box. The 54-pin plug is the center plug.

Power Door Unlock Negative Wire (-): White/Black
Power Door Unlock Negative Wire Location: At General Module (54-Pin Plug Pin 20). The general module is a white box located behind the glove box. The 54-pin plug is the center plug.

Door Trigger Positive Wire (+): Red/Blue

Dome Light Supervision Wire: Comes On With Unlock

Trunk Release Positive Wire (+): Gray/Green
Trunk Release Positive Wire Location: At General Module (54-Pin Plug, Pin 17). The general module is a white box located behind the glove box. The 54-pin plug is the center plug.

Horn Negative Positive Wire (+): Purple/Blue
Horn Negative Positive Wire Location: The horn wire is located at the horn relay above the general module, it is a green relay.

Tachometer Wire Negative Wire (-): Black
Tachometer Wire Negative Wire Location: At Diagnostic Connector, Passenger Side Of Engine Compartment Or At Data Link Connector Under Drivers Dash

Brake Light Positive Wire (+): Brown/White

  1. My 2001 BMW 325XI , sedan alarm keeps turning on while park for no aparent reason. Disconnected the interior dome motion sensor to see if that was the problem but it keeps doing it. I have not tried the trunk level control , what could the problem be that keep driving me crazy. Any clues to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
