  1. I have a ’99 Tahoe and the radio sound just died. There is power to the unit but no sound. I have been told that there is an inline fuse, but I have never heard of one for the output between the radio and the speakers. Is it possible or is the output in the radio it self out?? Could the OEM amp(if supplied) be the problem?

  2. I have a 1999 chevrolet tahoe. I installed an aftermarket radio in the truck. For some reason my remote wire will not turn the amp on when I select the CD options. Is the a solution to this issue?

  3. Frank, sounds like you connected your 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe amplifier turn on wire to the antenna wire. An easy fix would be to take the amplifier turn on wire on your aftermarket radio harness and connect it to your accessory switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe is on and off whenever your 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe radio installation.
