I have a 97 legacy outback with alarm. I believe alarm interlock is stopping from from starting the car. Everything else is fine. Is there away around this. Thanks Dave

Dave, unfortunately, it sounds like you may have to get your car checked out by your local Subaru dealer. Your interlock may need replacement. Hope this helps. Good luck

I would like to know how to disconnect the alarm system for my 1999 Subaru Forester. Is there a diagram you can send me? It is driving me CRAZY! Thanks, Diane

Diane, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to remove the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to remove. Hope this helps. Good luck on your alarm removal.
