  1. Jim, double check ALL your fuses using a Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1990 Buick Reatta radio troubleshooting.

  2. have 1990 reatta; 62000 miles; radio will not power on, antenna will not work, gas cap cover and hood buttons do not work; any remedies out there. thank you. jim

  3. The power antenna goes up when the key is turned on – not when the radio is powered up. Is this normal in a 1990 Buick Reatta??? I noticed above it has a pink ant trigger wire – I’ll have to trace that down. Also, the sound quality is rather poor. Newly purchased rear speakers are 4 ohms not the old 10ohms. Does the radio have power transistors or an IC? Finally, if a slightly lower (9 or 9.5) ohm load is put on the rear speakers will it improve the sound without cooking the radio? Thanks.
