    Tina, it sounds like your Lexus LS400 alarm shock sensor is too sensitive. You need to lower the shocks sensor sensitivity to prevent you alarm from going off when cars drive by. Some alarm systems have external shock sensors which can be adjusted externally. Some alarm systems have built in shock sensors which can only be adjusted via alarm programming. If you have never adjusted or programmed your alarm system before, our advice is that you take your car to an experienced alarm installer. It should not take more than 30 minutes from start to finish to adjust it. Hope this helps. Good luck with your Lexus LS400 shock sensor adjustment.

    How do I disarm the alarm on a Lexus LS400 as even though new battery fitted. alarm intermittently goes off (neighbors not happy~)~!!!

    Wanda, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to disarm the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to do. Hope this helps.     I have a 1998 Lexus GS400 and been having problems with the car alarm going off when I try and start the car. It takes me several times to get it to quit. It is very annoying. I want to disarm the alarm so this doesn’t go off anymore. Is there an easy way to do It? I appreciate any information you can give me. Thank You.

    Greg, we only have wiring diagrams for installing alarms into cars. We do not have the wiring diagrams of specific alarm systems. Our advice is to take your vehicle to an experienced alarm installer and have them install your Clifford 1.2 alarm system. It does take a good amount of alarm installation knowledge and wiring experience to accomplish this. Hope this helps. Good luck with your Clifford 1.2 remote start installation.
