How to Read a Check Engine Light Code on 1994 Acura Integra

1. Activate the 1994 Acura Integra Check Engine Light Diagnostic:

Go to passenger kick panel of your 1994 Acura Integra and look for a green cover right above the kick panel. Inside the green cover you’ll find a blue connector that has two wires attached to it. With the ignition off, use a small wire or paper clip to jump or connect the two wires in the blue connector. After securing the connection, turn your key to the ignition position (two clicks) until the dash lights come on but do not start your 1994 Acura Integra.

2. Read the Check Engine Code off the 1994 Acura Integra Check Engine Light:

To read the check engine code, pay close attention to how your check engine light is flashing. It will flash a series of long flashes and short flashes. The check engine trouble code is a 2-digit code. The long flashes represent the first digit and the short flashes represent the second digit. If your 1994 Acura Integra check engine light flashes 2 long flashes and 3 short flashes, then the check engine trouble code is: 23

If your 1994 Acura Integra has one check engine trouble code, the check engine light will flash long flashes, short flashes, pause and repeat the code.

(Here the check engine trouble code is 23.)

If your 1994 Acura Integra has more than one check engine light trouble code, the first engine code will flash, then the second engine code will flash and repeat.

(Here the check engine trouble codes is 12 and 20.)
