  1. I have a 2005 Honda Civic DX with the following Stereo: p/n:39101 – s5a – a210 – m1
The diagram posted on this site is different from the one in my car. However, I found the information below from the Honda website, and it matches my car. I don’t have the AT Speakers listed here, but they were included in the guide from Honda.

    This is the diagram:
    +12v Constant: white/red
    Switch: yellow/red
    Ground: black
    Illumination: red/black

    Speakers
    Left Front +: green/black
    Left Front -: light green
    Right Front +: green/yellow
    Right Front -: gray/red
    Left Rear +: blue/white
    Left Rear -: blue/black
    Right Rear +: pink
    Right Rear -: blue/yellow

    AT Speakers
Left Front Mid +: green/black (green/yellow for hybrid and sedan)
Left Front Mid -: light green (gray/red for hybrid and sedan)
Left Front Tweeter +: green/black (red in sedan)
Left Front Tweeter -: light green (blue in sedan)
Right Front Mid +: green/yellow (green/black for hybrid and sedan)
Right Front Mid -: gray/red (light green for hybrid and sedan)
Right Front Tweeter +: green/yellow (red in sedan)
Right Front Tweeter -: gray/red (blue in sedan)

  2. Daniela Santos, if you don’t have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the Honda dealer. Hope this helps.

  3. Dear all,
I had a electrical problem with my car last night and my Stereo doesn’t work. I lost my Code card a two years ago. Could you help me to find the Stereo Code?
    Honda Civic – Model 2005.
    Thanks in advance.

  4. Robert,

The radio constant 12V+ wire (White/Blue) is a power wire that comes straight from your battery. It is always powered even when the car is off.

The radio switched 12V+ wire (Yellow/Red) is a power wire that comes from your ignition switch. It is only powered when your key is in the ignition and the car is running.

The reason the constant wire is always powered is to make sure your radio settings and radio station pre-sets are not erased when your car is not running. The switched wire is what actually powers the radio when your key is in the ignition and your car is running.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck.
