just bought a 1999 Lincoln Navigator, and sounds like the antenna is unplugged (stations do not come in well), does anyone know where i should start looking?
Robert, factory radios don’t normally come with a fuse for the screen. Unfortunately, it sounds like the screen on your radio is faulty. You will need to get your radio repaired or replaced. Our advice is to find a used factory radio in good working order or replace it with an aftermarket unit. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I have a 99 lincoln navigator with am/fm cassette, and 6 cd changer. The display for tuning frequency, cd, etc. does not illuminate, but the unit operates fine. Is there an internal fuse that would cause the lighted display to not work?
Matt, you should get a single DIN radio with a aftermarket car radio dash kit. A wiring harness can make your install easier but its not necessary if you are good at splicing wires. Hope this helps. Good luck.
My girlfriend has a 1998 Lincoln Navigator and I was wondering what size is the factory head unit? If I was going to replace the factory head unit would the stock CD Changer work with another head unit? And if I was going to replace the factory head unit do I need a wiring harness and etc? Thanks.
