I’m going to install a new radio staying factory the other one just broke and im planning on installing an amp and sub also but I need to know the most direct way of uninstalling the stereo and hooking up the rca’s and remote wire. Thank You.
Chris, as much as we would like to help you with your 2010 Kia Picanto, we currently don’t have any information about removing your 2009 Mazda 6 radio. As per your RCA interconnects installation, you would have to install a line out converter to supply an audio output. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:
2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter
When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you install a line out converter, your rear speakers will still work properly. As for your remote wire installation, technically you could connect your 2009 Mazda 6 amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2009 Mazda 6 is on and off whenever your 2009 Mazda 6 is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2009 Mazda 6 amplifier installation.
