  1. I wired a LOC onto a 2009 Jeep Liberty via the Front R/L speakers @ the back of the FACTORY radio. Now.. The volume of the front speakers are much lower than before @ the same volume level. Example: “When the stereo is on 10 volume before it was comfortably loud, now it’s very quiet. Another problem I’m having is that the subwoofer hits the same @ 1 volume as it does at 20… I’m not sure what the problem is, but I’m assuming it has to do with the factory amps in this jeep. It is a Premium model jeep and has an infinity sub in the back. The Jeep is not mine and I only have access to it for short periods of time. Please let me know something! Also.. There might be a violet/brown wire in YOUR steering wire harness… However, in the one I operated on; no such color combination exists. Thank You.

  2. Cole, when splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires (at the speaker) to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you install a line out converter, your rear speakers will still work properly. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2009 Jeep Liberty amplifier installation.
