  1. I just bought a 1 din car stereo for my fiance for christmas. She has a 2008 lancer and wanted a stereo she could control her iphone and ipod with. I went to start her car afterward and it looks like she might have a 2 din bay instead of a 1 din bay. Can you tell me will the 1 din work, or do I need to look for a 2 din model? Thanks.

  2. Courtney, a 1-din car stereo will work as long as you get a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer 1-DIN stereo dash kit. Here is the 1-din stereo dash kit you need:

  3. Hi, i have installed an aftermarket sound system in my 2008 mitsubishi lancer. i have still got the original radio but there is no display on the screen, during the day nothing can be seen but at night it can be seen, the screen seems to have dimmed. can anyone please help?

  4. Thanx for the assistance but now that I have connected an amplifier and a subwoofer I cannot find the remote wire to switch the amplifier on. can you please assist me? Thank you.

  5. Chetan, technically you could connect your 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer amplifier turn on wire to a switched 12v+ power source. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is on and off whenever your 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is off. Run a primary wire from the back of your radio to your steering column and use the light green wire in the ignition switch harness. This light green wire will provide a switched power source for your 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer stereo. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer stereo installation.
