  1. Installing a Nokia 616 Bluetooth kit which has a yellow wire in the loom for muting the radio during a call, Is there a way to use this function on the 2007 toyota Yaris radio? anyone?

  2. The radio one my 2007 Yaris has had a problem for awhile, wherein I’ll be listening to a song with a particularly strong bass line or at a slightly loud level, and the sound will cut out. If I play the radio low or with all bass removed, it won’t happen. Once I restart my car, it usually comes right back on – only to go out again a moment later. I’m wondering if this might be a problem with the radio output to the speakers, and do you have any tips for fixing this without having to replace the radio? I really like the factory radio, and would rather not replace it if I can avoid it. Thanks so much!!

  3. I just bought 2006 yaris and radio is on even when ignition key is removed. harness attached looks untampered but somehow I get unswitched power to the factory radio/CD. what should I be looking for??

  4. Yaris, technically you could connect your 2004 Toyota Yaris amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2004 Toyota Yaris is on and off whenever your 2004 Toyota Yaris is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Toyota Yaris stereo install.

  5. i am wondering what color the remote wire is on the 2004 toyota yaris. there are 2 black/red wires, there is no solid black ones , can i have some help please?

  6. Barry, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2007 Toyota Yaris stereo or factory amplifier (if equipped) may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Toyota Yaris radio troubleshooting.

  7. hi i need help with my factory installed stereo in a 2007 toyota yaris. a few days ago while listening to radio there was a loud pop and stereo died. i want to check fuses but nothing is labeled radio and maybe its something worst? please help.

  8. 2009 Toyota Yaris unit was to be installed in the boat and guys were abut to trow the thing to the trash. Using this wiring I could track back the wires and installed it to my 2004 Chevy Astro. Plays like a charm, thank you!

  9. I have a E1059 6.2 Inch Touch Screen 2 Din Car DVD Player for Toyota Yaris(E1059) and wanted to connect an amp to the unit but wanted confirmation that the blue and white wire is the amp trigger wire.

  10. Hey, similiar problem to Susan above, my radio is experiencing static on most stations, except a couple. However, when the key is turned forward on accessory, and not STARTED, the stations work crystal clear. Could this be a wiring problem/radio problem? I checked and put new fuses in for the audio system so I don’t think it’d be fuse related. Thanks in advance for the help.

  11. Susan, it sounds like your radio is faulty. Usually when you have trouble hearing stations, the radio tuner is usually going bad. Our advice is to replace your factory radio with an aftermarket radio. Hope this helps. Good luck with your radio replacement.

  12. Hello! I am wondering what is going on with my radio. I have only been able to get one station for the last week. Everything else is static. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…

    Thanks!!!

  13. i’m actually looking for an ’08 toyota yaris radio wiring harness, and can’t seem to find it anywhere online. i bought my car without a radio, and am now trying to install my own — i’ve done this before, in a toyota previa, with total success =) — and i’ve been to electronics stores all over the place. one store only had a kit for a double din, but i wanted a single din. thanks in advance!

  14. Omri, you will require a line out converter. A line out converter will allow you to provide an aftermarket amplifier with an audio signal via RCA wires. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your subwoofer install.

  15. Hi. I wanted to know if it is possible to add an RCA output to the Yaris system?
I have an amp and i was hoping to hook it up with RCA which is not available in the original system.
Is there a web site which can show me how its done?
I got an amp and sub from my old car and replacing the original system costs a lot.
I don’t want to lower the signal just to amp it up again, that would cause noise as well…
So… is there a way to manually add an RCA output?
    Thanks
    Omri

  16. Modken, the color of the wires at the speaker may be different than the speaker wire colors at the back of the radio. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  17. hello. i was just wondering, on the diagram it says the left rear speaker wire (-) is yellow, and in my 07 yaris it only shows a red wire and black wire goin to the terminals. it’s covered by a black casing of some sort so i can’t see the rest of the wire, but i’m imagining it’s still red and black, right? which one would be negative? i need to connect an adjustable line ouput converter that i have. any help is appreciated.
