  1. Aaron, if you want to use your running board lights, use the pink/red (-) wire (parking lights wire) located at vehicle interior fuse box. The parking lights wire wont be able to power your running board lights so make sure you wire in a relay because the running board lights will need its own power source. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Jeep Commander running board lights installation.

  2. Thanks for the help, ModifiedLife. I actually reconsidered and think I would rather have the running board lights to turn on/flash with the headlights when I lock/unlock, but not be on when the headlights are turned on, say for nighttime driving. Is this possible? Which wire to tie into and where? Thanks a ton

  3. Aaron, use the yellow/orange (domelight supervision wire) located at the under dash light to tie in your Westin lights. Just make sure to wire in a relay as opposed to wiring it straight in. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Jeep Commander running board lights installation.

  4. I am considering getting Westin lights on my Westin running boards for my 2007 Jeep Commander. I want the lights to come on whenever I lock and unlock the car with my remote, and to stay on until the interior lights fade after 30 sec. I need to know where the wire is I can tie into.

  5. how do I get to the starter cylinoid on a 2006 jeep commander as the wire is loose and it wont start.
The little wire.. Had an oil change done today and came home parked the car and it wont click at all.
Battery is 3 months old. checked it and it is fine….. Just that loose wire….
