  1. Danny, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to disable your car alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to do. Hope this helps. Good luck on your 2006 Mazda 3 car alarm troubleshooting.

  2. my 2006 mazda 3 factory alarm keeps going off randomly on its own, i live more than an hour away from the dealer and cant take the car for at least 2-3 weeks. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to permanently disable the alarm so it wont go off???

  3. Dan, if you have enough car alarm wiring experience then you should be able to wire up an immobilizer bypass. It usually consists of no more than 10 or so wires. Here is the immobilizer bypass you need:

If you have never installed a car alarm before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced car alarm installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Mazda 3 immobilizer bypass installation.

  4. hi, i own a 2006 mazda 3 hatchback with the 2.3 L engine. i want to install a remote starter in my car but don’t want to pay the huge installation prices that will occur. I am worried about the fact that my car uses a chipped key…

how involved is the wiring to install a remote start in a car with a chipped key?

is there anywhere with a tutorial that i can look at to see what I may be getting my self into?
this would be helpful even if it was for a totally different car.

I have never paid anyone else to work on my cars for anything ( brakes, exhaust, radio installations) but this one is in a little bit of foreign territory to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Dan

  5. hello, about the domelight supervision wire, is that what sends the signal to the overhead domlight to turn on/off with the unlocking and locking of the vehicle? would you happen to know where the wiring harness for the domelight gets up into the roof? its not in either B pillar and i didnt want to pull more panels off just yet..
    thanks!

  6. Ben, most vehicles have a factory hole with a rubber or plastic grommet at the firewall. This is usually the standard place to run a power wire through the firewall. If one of these holes are not available or not large enough, a hole will have to be drilled to accommodate your power wire. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  7. Hi, I’m trying to hook up an amp to my aftermarket deck in my 06 mazda 3. The only problem is I don’t know where to run the power cable to the battery. So I need to know where I can run one out?
