  2. hi i just bought a 2006 Ford Escape and I noticed that the anti theft light is blinking every 2 or 3 sec when I park it, Is that normal or is there any way to stop the blinking? hope you can help me thanks!

  3. Jim, it sounds like your 2006 Ford Escape alarm shock sensor is too sensitive. You need to lower the shocks sensor sensitivity to prevent you alarm from going off when cars drive by. Some alarm systems have external shock sensors which can be adjusted externally. Some alarm systems have built in shock sensors which can only be adjusted via alarm programming. If you have never adjusted or programmed your alarm system before, our advice is that you take your car to an experienced alarm installer. It should not take more than 30 minutes from start to finish to adjust it. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Ford Escape shock sensor adjustment.

  4. Sam, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer or your local Ford dealer and ask them to reset your 2006 Ford Escape alarm because it does take some car alarm knowledge and experience to know what to do for your particular car alarm. Hope this helps. Good luck with resetting your alarm.
